I started back in February posting all my fic to archive here on my journal. Aaaand, I lost interest in that quickly, but I'm starting to do it again, and hopefully I'll stick with it til it's done.

Well, first some back story for those that are new or forgot because it's been so long since I was more than semi-active.

In June of 2005 I began writing The Way Back and I finished it in January of 2006. The sequel was completed about a year later. So, between January of 2007 and now, I've been planning a sequel. But, a lot has happened in the intervening four years to make me almost a completely different writer, one that's definitely out of practice, but one that also has BIG ideas.

I've been going back to The Way Back quite recently, in thoughts, conversations (w/ my roomie who's into fandom and just re-watched Labyrinth with me), and in rereading it for the first time in a while. And man, if I could, I would definitely change some things about those first chapters, at least.

( Here, let me meta a little about my own story...  )

Yeah, that doesn't seem to have happened. I've been locked in this vicious cycle, where I start writing some fic, think about how I'm virtually silent on LJ recently, post like twice and then disappear again, only to return when I think about writing fic again.

I'm going to try harder to work on fic and post on LJ. We'll see how it goes. Maybe if I get into some sort of posting schedule... I dunno. Ideas F-list? ...who I've also been sadly neglecting. :(

Maybe I'll post some edited chapters later...

But then again, my beloved Steelers are playing in the Superbowl tonight, so I can't imagine getting anything big accomplished.
